Confusion over missing Emmerdale legend who has disappeared from screens
Amid the drama, deaths and devastation of Emmerdale’s huge Limo Week, it has been a busy time in the dales.
But you might have noticed that one character seems to have disappeared from screens in recent weeks.
Brenda Walker – played by actress Lesley Dunlop – has not been seen for over a month now.
The character last made an appearance during the episode airing on 17 January, where her ex Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) made a pass at her.
After the pair agreed to forget the incident, Brenda has not popped up since.
However, Metro can confirm that Brenda hasn’t gone anywhere and will be back on screen soon.
Back in November, it was reported that Lesley would be leaving the ITV soap after 16 years of playing Brenda.
The 68-year-old actress joined the show in 2008, and over the years her character has faced plenty of challenges, including her turbulent relationship with boyfriend Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) to overcoming a brain tumour diagnosis.

Lesley and Chris are married in real life, having tied the knot in 2016.
Chris, 76, has been on the show himself since 1986.
In 2012, the actor reminisced about how they got together, saying: ‘Everyone thinks it’s the younger members of the cast who have all the fun but we more mature ones do, too
‘It was weird. Somehow we’d never met before and we just kept bumping into each other at work.
‘I can’t even remember if I asked her for a date or she asked me but she is wonderful and we’re very happy,’ he added to the Daily Record.
