Moira confused and upset as her health takes unexpected turn in Emmerdale
Things for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) took a concerning turn in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale.
This week, her behaviour has been…questionable, to say the least. She has snapped multiple times at husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) and while sometimes she’s had reason to do so, other occasions have occurred that’s left Cain confused and wondering what he did wrong.
Matty (Ash Palmisciano) has also been in the firing line. After Samson’s (Sam Hall) arrest earlier this week, he expressed sympathy towards his relative because he knows exactly what it’s like to be terrified in prison. For Moira, she couldn’t understand why Matty was feeling sorry for him and said he’s at risk of becoming a ‘doormat’ if his behaviour didn’t change.
In tonight’s episode, Moira argued with Cain again. She opened up about the stressful life she leads as a working mum and, genuinely feeling worried, Cain said it might be a good idea to visit Doctor Liam (Jonny McPherson).

Sadly, Cain’s frustration resulted in him walking out of Butlers. Left alone, there was a brief moment Moira seemed to feel unwell.
When we returned to their home, Matty found his mum on the sofa after apparently taking a nap.
Moira sat up and was puzzled. Her reaction to Matty’s update suggested she had no memory of falling asleep but instead of telling her son this, she covered and said she’s not been eating much and needed some rest after a few early starts.
Currently, we don’t quite know what’s going on with Moira. Is her behaviour as a result of alcohol?
Or is something else going on with her?
And if she can’t communicate these issues, where does that leave her and Cain?
