Some Emmerdale viewers have recalled a past character on the ITV soap who could be linked to the mystery Aidan Moore.
Amid fans being convinced they know who Aidan is and how he’s linked to John Sugden, a possible surname clue may have teased the truth. John was seen holding some army dog tags which were engraved with Aidan’s name during Tuesday’s episode.
He hid them from his sister Victoria Sugden, and it was clear he didn’t want anyone to see them. Fans were unsure who Aidan was or if John was in fact Aidan in an identity theft twist.
But now some fans have done some digging, and a possible link to the village may have been rumbled for Aidan. In fact, if Aidan is connected to a particular past character, that would mean he could also be related to the Sugdens.
Karen shares the same surname as the mystery Aidan, so is this a massive coincidence or a red herring by the show, or is Aidan the son or relative of Karen? This would link him to the village but also Jack, and therefore the Sugden family.
If Aidan is the secret son of Jack and Karen, he could also be the brother of Victoria. But that sparks another big question – are both Aidan and John secret children of Jack, or is John lying about his identity?
Could John actually be Aidan? Does John even exist? Who knows, but we will no doubt find out more information soon. But a Karen Moore, same surname as Aidan, did exist and was linked to Jack, so it’s sparked loads of theories regarding Aidan’s real identity.
That would not explain why John has his dog tags unless either he is Aidan, or he stole them. Might Aidan be his sibling or someone else entirely, and might John have been left with the tags for some reason?
