Another Emmerdale character suffers at the hands of Joe Tate in early ITVX release

The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Ross Barton (Michael Parr) received some unexpected news about his brother Pete in tonight’s Emmerdale, unaware a certain Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) was behind it.
Last week, Ross was appointed the new Head of Security at Home Farm by Kim Tate (Claire King). Oddly enough, Kim and Ross actually have something in common – they both want to know what Joe is hiding.
As a result, Kim gave Ross a new job with one main goal – find out Joe’s secret.
His quest underway, Ross overheard Joe and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) talking in the pub and later fed this information back to Kim. She was disappointed in Ross, and pointed out that Joe speaking to the local GP doesn’t actually prove he’s acting shifty.
Determined to show he’s the right man for the job, Ross headed out and later came across Joe and Doctor Crowley (James Hillier) talking in a car.
Ross interfered in their ‘meeting’ and it irritated both Crowley and Joe. Once Ross left, a paranoid Crowley told Joe that the troublesome character is getting in their way and if he found out any information, their plan for an unethical and illegal organ donation wouldn’t go ahead.
With that, Joe knew he had to do something.

It wasn’t long until Ross received a phone call which confirmed his brother Pete had been attacked.
Charity (Emma Atkins) was curious, and Ross told her that his sibling hasn’t been involved in any drama recently, so an attack brutal enough to put him in hospital is very strange.
Ross headed to the hospital to see his brother but when he returns, will he keep digging at Home Farm to find out what Joe is doing?
If he sniffs out the truth, will the organ donation still go ahead?
