Brutal Emmerdale murder ‘inevitable’ as Jai Sharma drops bombshell

Viewers are convinced an Emmerdale murder is inevitable after Jai Sharma continued his detective work this week.

The character is trying to get to the bottom of Caleb and Steph Miligan’s odd behaviour, and he also wants to know what happened to missing Anthony Fox. Jai won’t let it go, and is desperate to have anything over his boss Caleb.

The pair haven’t got on ever since Caleb conned him last year, and now Jai knows something is going on. Anthony vanished after seemingly being a no-show at the depot where Jai and Caleb work earlier this year.

Of course fans know he actually died in the very building, after his daughter Ruby Miligan killed him. John Sugden disposed of the body after he and partner Aaron Dingle thought Aaron was the killer.

Other characters including Chas and Cain Dingle, as well as Caleb and Steph, are helping to cover up the crime and what Ruby, Aaron and John did. Steph only recently learned the truth about her granddad’s vanishing act.

But she also learned the shocking bombshell that Anthony was her biological father after raping her mum Ruby when she was a teenager. In the weeks that have followed, Caleb, Ruby and Steph have all been acting a little oddly and Jai has picked up on it.

Jai is suspicious about what happened with Anthony, while he’s also sure Caleb has something to hide. He’s been digging, trying to find out what Caleb is up to, even taunting Steph to try and get the truth out of her.

He’s now also been speaking to his ex Laurel about it, after Laurel and pal Nicola King’s violent run-in with Anthony before his death. But Laurel warned Jai he needed to leave things alone, telling him to keep his nose out.

He told her Caleb was “up to something” and that he needed to find out what it was. But Laurel told him it wasn’t wise to keep digging as there were things they didn’t know about the Miligans, and he should keep his nose out.

Viewers are now convinced that Jai won’t stop until he gets to the truth about Anthony. As a result he could be killed off if John, who fans are convinced is a killer, decides to silence him.

One viewer posted on social media: “Jai needs to be careful, and mind his business,” as another said: “Jai is gonna dig and dig until he gets stuck in a big hole.”

A third fan posted: “Jai is going to investigate what’s up with Caleb and Steph… how long till they have to murder him to keep their secret?” as a fourth viewer wrote: “Jai is going to talk himself into a meeting with psycho John if he’s not careful.”
