It’s been a rocky road for Emmerdale’s newest lovebirds, but they’re finally at the good bit!
Vinny and Gabby’s romance seems to be going from strength to strength. They struggled at first to admit their feelings, and then Vinny (Bradley Johnson) battled his anxieties over his virginity.
His fears nearly derailed them completely when his embarrassment saw him fly into a rage after Gabby (Rosie Bentham) pushed him too fast too soon, and his reaction sent Gabby scarpering. But luckily, she was able to hear him out and they began moving forward.
Then there was the snog, which confirmed things were right on track.
But now it’s time for the big moment – while battling the big first night fears, they jump into bed together.
It seems to be a success as Vinny later tells Aaron (Danny Miller) all about what’s just happened to him, and Aaron is surprisingly pleased for his former brother-in-law to be finally moving on from Liv two years after her death.
But now the sexy equivalent of the beer fear sets in as Vinny develops angst over having done the deed.
His worry is compounded when Charity (Emma Atkins) acts like a right cow and belittles Vinny over his inexperience, but she ends up feeling rather guilty about it in a twist of karma as she sees what she’s done to him.
Vinny is in knots about this important next stage in his and Gabby’s relationship, especially given their imbalance of experience.
But he need not worry. Gabby is horny enough for the both of them and his lack of bed post notches far from puts her off. She grabs him and gives him a big snog, dissolving his insecurities in an instant.
It’s a huge moment for the pair as they take a step forward, growing closer as they together push Thomas on the swings.
Vinny has popped his cherry and is already well on his way to being a step-dad. What’s next for this cute couple?
