Emmerdale confirms police involvement in Rose Jackson story – as Will Taylor makes a dangerous move
Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) is currently missing in Emmerdale, with nobody having any idea about whether she’s even alive or dead.
The last time we saw Rose, Kim Tate (Claire King) and Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) had driven her to a remote location.
They dumped her there after getting her to make a phone call to Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) explaining that she was leaving and wanted no further contact with her daughter.
When the police turned up with Rose’s bag and other possessions found at the scene, but no sign of Rose, it seemed that something sinister could well have happened to her.
It was clear that Will and Kim were each suspicious of the other, knowing that they were more than capable of doing something dastardly to Rose and both having the motive to do so.
In upcoming episodes, Dawn still can’t believe that Rose would just vanish from her life again. She believes Rose was sincere about wanting a relationship with her and her children, so she suspects that something bad must have happened to Rose to make her vanish into thin air.
So she tells Will that she has no choice but to report Rose to the police as a missing person.
This obviously makes him uneasy, though whether it’s because he feels guilty about something he’s done or because he thinks Kim might have Rose’s blood on her hands is unclear.
The situation is made all the more difficult when baby Evan’s health takes a turn and Dawn is told he needs a bone marrow transplant. With close blood relatives being more likely to be a match, Dawn says it’s vital that they find Rose.

Sick with worry, Will tries to contact Kim, who is away, but fails to speak to her. So he makes a reckless move. Retrieving Rose’s phone, he listens to a voicemail message from Dawn and then sets about composing a message.
It’s guilty behaviour – and with the police now involved, is Will playing a dangerous game?
