What a load of bull! Emmerdale confirms bizarre new storyline
Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) has been a bit OTT when it comes to his revenge stunts with newcomer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) in Emmerdale.
The punishment outweighed the crime when Mack sent his beloved van tumbling into the river. But a big hunk of Karma is about to come get him.
In a bizarre twist, Mack finds himself blocked in a barn with an angry bull. This is a serious situation to which many matadors can attest – bulls can kill.
Especially angry ones in tiny spaces. How did it get there? One can only guess John.
On the one hand, it’s a pretty hilarious moment, but on the other, it becomes clear Mack will not be making his escape in one piece. Has John taken things way too far?
Mack makes a bid for freedom but fails spectacularly, and Nate (Jurell Carter) is horrified not only to find a bull in the barn, but the state Mack is in.
Groaning in pain and severely injured, Mack is in a bad way. But he’s of sound enough mind to make an accusation – he claims John put the bull in the barn.
Aaron defends his friend and confronts John, but rather than letting John see his rageful side, he’s enveloped by a wave of lust and the pair get passionate instead.
Charity (Emma Atkins) tries to convince Mack not to take this lying down, but before he can formulate a plan, he grows woozy and collapses.
Is John’s stunt an attempted murder?
