Emmerdale trailer confirms deadly explosion as Belle story takes another twist

Autumn gets off to an explosive start in Emmerdale – quite literally! – with a barn set to go up in flames, as confirmed in a brand new trailer.

The ITV soap has been firing on all cylinders as of late, with the arrival of newcomer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), the mysterious disappearance of Rose Jackson and the chilling Tom King (James Chase) abuse story.

Things are set to heat up even further as September arrives, with an intense week of drama lined up as a devastating barn fire rages at Butlers – and lives are on the line.

Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), as viewers know, has been acting out of character as of late, which has not gone unnoticed by her loved ones, with Cain (Jeff Hordley) seriously concerned by his wife’s behaviour.

Upcoming scenes will see Cain question her on the subject and Moira doesn’t react too well, with her actions set to ignite a devastating chain of events.

But will death follow?

Cast members of the ITV serial – including Jeff, Oliver (John), Lawrence Robb (Mack) and Beth Cordingly (Ruby) – were spotted filming the scenes in question earlier this year – and it’s safe to say that there will be horror aplenty.

Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), meanwhile, is preparing to leave the village after a job offer in Scotland but romance soon ensues, with he and Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) ultimately deciding to give their marriage another go.

The question is: will their happiness be short-lived?

And Belle Dingle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) ordeal continues as Tom tightens his emotional grip on her. But will she be able to expose him for the abuser that he is?

It’s going to be an eventful autumn in the village, that’s for sure!
