Moira feared dead in Emmerdale as Cain makes chilling discovery
Reality started to hit Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) during last night’s episode of Emmerdale as she started to fear that she might be very unwell.
After weeks of concerning behaviour, things took another worrying turn for Moira on Tuesday night’s episode when she experienced a seizure.
Up until then, Moira hasn’t really been aware that something is up with her. She’s been under a lot of stress as a result of Matty’s (Ash Palsmiciano) imprisonment and generally being a working mum, but isn’t aware of how her change in personality looks to other people.
On Tuesday night’s episode, Moira was up at a barn alone looking after a cow. Just as she turned around, she experienced pain in her head and then dropped to the ground, experiencing a seizure afterwards.
When last night’s episode began, we re-joined Moira. It was the middle of the night and she woke up on a bed of hay. Not prepared to move and walk back into Butlers, Moira found a piece of material and covered herself with it.
As morning broke, Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) were in the kitchen having breakfast. Of course, Isaac wondered where his mum had got to.
After finding Moira at the barn, Cain and Isaac returned home with her. Moira claimed she had simply nodded off while looking after the cow, but Cain wondered how that was even possible considering she looked ‘dead to the world’ when they found her.
As it became apparent Cain thought Moira had died while in the barn overnight, the beloved character started to accept in her mind that there might be something wrong with her.
Moira told Cain that it could be a virus or the menopause, and said she felt hurt earlier this week when he tried to suggest the changes were down to having another affair with Nate (Jurell Carter).
Later that day, as Cain opened up to Chas (Lucy Pargeter) about Moira, we saw her asleep on the sofa.
Isaac arrived and kissed his mum’s head and said he wouldn’t tell Cain that she ‘went all wobbly’ again.
It’s very clear that Moira’s problem is more than just drinking a bit too much alcohol – but when will she find out what’s going on?
