Emmerdale child star unrecognisable with new look 10 years on from role
Emmerdale star Luke Roskell is worlds away from Sean Spencer these days, over a decade on from his soap debut.
The actor rose to fame on the ITV soap, playing Amelia Spencer’s (Daisy Campbell) older brother Sean for three years.
The character, who featured between 2011 and 2014, played a key role in a number of storylines during that time frame and had relationships with both Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Gemma Andrews (Tendai Rinomhota).
Sean was often conflicted over who he truly loved, unsure if he wanted to be with Belle or Gemma, with the narrative inevitably falling into love triangle territory.
Luke left the role of Sean in 2014.
”I have had an amazing three years on Emmerdale and I will miss everyone loads’, he said at the time.
‘I wanted to explore other opportunities and I am excited to find out what the future holds.’
Since leaving Emmerdale, Luke has appeared in BBC One drama The A-Word as well as Sky One’s Jamestown.
The actor often takes to social media, showing his transformation – and he’s worlds away now from his Dales counterpart.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, continues to thrill audiences, with the long-running soap delivering quite a big week last week, confirming newcomer Ella Forster’s (Paula Lane) big secret.

It turned out that Ella, who has been the subject of much fans speculation, killed her best friend when she was 11-years-old and had served time in prison as a result.
The villagers struggled to comprehend such a thing, with Ella currently public enemy number one as a result.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
