ITV Emmerdale fans ‘can’t stop laughing’ at couple’s ‘unconvincing’ romance
Emmerdale viewers have accused Aaron Dingle and John Sugden of having 'no chemistry' as they both laugh at the couple's 'unconvincing' romance on social media
Emmerdale fans have blasted the fresh steamy romance between Aaron Dingle and the new bloke on the block, John Sugden, savaging the couple’s on-screen kiss.
The love story started off digitally with a bit of banter on a dating app before they clapped eyes on each other last month. That was after John (played by Oliver Farnworth) found himself with a conked-out motor.
Aaron (Danny Miller) rolled up his sleeves to rescue the ride, only to clock that John was the hunky chap he’d been messaging online and without missing a beat, the pair locked lips in a hot-and-heavy van snog.
Turns out John’s actually the half-brother of Aaron’s past flame, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), which threw a spanner in the works between the chaps, reports the Express.

Still, the duo seems unable to dodge the sparks flying around them, embarking on a fling, but fans of the ITV soap are calling out their clinches as ‘awful’.
A Reddit user explained: “Anybody else laughing at the way they’re kissing?? I’ve seen more convincing kisses in a school play!!! It’s like they don’t actually want to be touching each other and are being forced to do it, not feeling any chemistry between them at all.”
Chiming in, another critic added: “It really was awful the other day – I’m glad it wasn’t just me. I get they were trying to do, ‘Oh we hate each other and don’t want to kiss but we can’t help ourselves’ but it just came across as, ‘eww, I don’t wanna kiss you’.”

One viewer chimed in: “I want to like them together. I want Aaron to be softened and forget what a little prick he’s been. But this is not it.”
“The relationship so far seems weird and forced. I don’t even like MacKenzie but Aaron has far better chemistry with him than John,” another viewer added.
However, one viewer jumped to their defence, stating: “I kind of think that’s what it’s supposed to be. They aren’t comfortable with each other, the characters or the actors. It will take time. Sometimes you hit gold with chemistry sometimes it takes time.”
