Will makes a dangerous mistake which incurs his stalker’s wrath in Emmerdale
Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is living in fear of his mystery Emmerdale blackmailer with no clue who it could be.
Is it Caleb – who is desperate to destroy him and Kim Tate (Claire King?). Is it an indebted Jimmy (which would be quite the plot twist!), who could desperately use £10k to pay off his fines and save his ailing business. Could it even be a scorned Kim, having found out Will slept with her nemesis Rose (Christine Tremarco)?
Whoever it is, Will is afraid. And as an ex con drug dealer who originally burst into Emmerdale with plans to murder the vicar, it takes a lot to make him afraid.
Will is still reeling from the destruction of his relationship with daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley), who found out he’d covered up Rose’s disappearance because he thought his wife had murdered her.
Dawn was sicked by his actions and promptly moved out of Home Farm and into Highgate, leaving Will alone.
Kim had also seemingly abandoned Will, refusing to take his calls while on her trip to Dubai as she has suspicions of Will’s heinous act. So, Will is trying to cope with his growing fear completely alone.
And now the blackmailer has demanded £10,000 and a meeting.
Will is hellbent on finding out who is trying to control him as he prepares for the handover in the layby just outside of the village. But just as he’s about to meet his extortionist, Caleb (Will Ash) tells him there’s a fire raging at the barn – where Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly) are trapped.
Will is torn in needing to meet the blackmailer and helping to save lives, but ultimately, he follows Caleb and slyly hides the money from view.
But this means he’s missed the chance to pay off whoever the angry person is, and they waste no time in sending him a threatening message about his really big mistake.
Will is consumed with fear as he tries to help the Dingles with the barn fire. Has Will sealed his own fate?
