Emmerdrama Emmerdale fans ‘uncover’ surprise murderer after shock death twist rocks the Dales
Viewers were quick to identify a prime suspect following the twist
EMMERDALE viewers reckon they’ve sussed out a new murderer following a shocking death.
Scenes aired on Wednesday saw one storyline take a dramatic turn with Helen Fox (Sharon Maughan) killed off.

The estranged mother of Ruby (Beth Cordingly), Helen had debuted earlier this week.
Although she was terminally ill, some wondered if her son-in-law Caleb (Will Ash) could have been responsible for her death.
Viewers clocked him at the hospital around the same time – and were quick to share their suspicions.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, a user asked: “Wonder if Caleb killed Ruby’s mum?”
Another queried: “Why do I get feeling that Caleb is behind her mum dying?”
While a third simply said: “Caleb killed her.”
Ruby had been estranged from her mum since Helen kicked her out as a teenager after falling pregnant with Caleb’s baby.
Although Caleb knew Helen was dying and wanted to reunite with her daughter, he leveraged it for £100k instead – and time ran out.
As Ruby arrived in the hospital – having been called and told her mother wanted to see her – the nurse told her: “She was desperate to see you. I’m afraid it’s too late. She passed away 20 minutes ago.”
Shown the body, Ruby said: “Why did you want to see me? Why? To say sorry? Because if you wanted to, you had plenty of time to do it.
“To come and find me. To beg my forgiveness. But no, instead you have to be a drama queen with all this deathbed stupidness.
“How could you do this to me? One more way to stick the knife in? Did you ever love me mum?”
Meanwhile Caleb was listening in from the corridor, having arrived to demand the £100k.
He fled the hospital before Ruby left and waited for her back at home.
Later, as Caleb tried to comfort his wife, Ruby said: “My mother turned her back on me and I’m no better than her.
“I had one last chance to talk to my mum and now it’s gone. It’s going to drive me mad my whole life.
“I’ll never know what she wanted to say to me.”
