Emmerdale legend dumps rebound partner as she takes big step to fix her marriage
Kim Tate (Claire King) was having second thoughts about her plan post marriage breakdown in Emmerdale.
Kim and Will’s (Dean Andrews) relationship fell apart a few weeks ago when Kim was revealed as his blackmailer. She had worked hard in her revenge plot after finding out Will had slept with Rose (Christine Tremarco), and even left Will in a grave overnight as the final nail in the coffin.
In the aftermath, Will and Kim have been at war. Recently, he took advantage of still living at Home Farm and spent the afternoon drinking beer with Jimmy King (Nick Miles).
Kim was understandably wound up at the sight of Will and Jimmy making a mess of Home Farm. To get her own back, she announced tonight that she was going out with her financial advisor Peter.
She was deliberately hoping to wind Will up, and it worked an absolute treat. After Will realised Peter had his shirt on, he was then forced to stand and listen to his and Kim’s comments about them sleeping together.
Full of anger, Will punched Peter.
A while later, Lydia (Karen Blick) visited and got chatting to Kim. She wondered what her friend was actually gaining out of being horrible to Will and surprisingly, Kim revealed she was getting as much pleasure out of the situation as she thought.
Lydia told Kim that unless one of them swallows their pride, the situation will end with the couple losing each other forever.
With that, Kim rang Peter and told him she wasn’t interested anymore.
Meanwhile, outside the pub, Will was getting very drunk with Kerry (Laura Norton). They eventually returned to Home Farm and Will thoroughly enjoyed telling Kim that he was planning on continuing his antics with Kerry in the bedroom.
This latest move from Will has certainly left Kim wondering if swallowing her pride was even worth it.
Will these two characters ever get back on track?
