Emmerdale confirms a traumatic week for the residents of the eponymous village, as previewed in my new spoiler pictures, with a collapse on the cards while Tom King (James Chase) faces exposure at last.
Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is unsettled when Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) begins to quiz her on her relationship with Tom, realising something is up with her.
With Tom approaching, Belle is quick to evade Charity’s line of questioning, pushing past the Woolpack landlady in the hopes of getting away from her. Tom, meanwhile, is up to no good once again as he makes a phone call to confirm that he wants to interview for a job in Wales, telling the interviewer that Belle would be delighted to move with him.
But with Charity – not to mention Belle’s Mental Health Care co-ordinator Rachel – on to Tom, is the abuser’s reign of terror set to reach its end sooner rather than later?
Elsewhere in the village, Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) quizzes Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) about telling Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) the truth about Amit (Anil Goutam).
Frightened and alone, barely able to move, she’s unable to reach for her phone. Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), however, comes to her rescue and calls for an ambulance.
And Caleb Miligan (William Ash) finds himself in danger as Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) puts two and two together about Ethan’s (Emile John) hit and run, with a showdown ensuing between the two in the woods.
But just how will this all pan out?
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, July 1 and Friday, July 5 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
