Emmerdale continues its winning streak, with another jam-packed week of the ITV soap lined up, as confirmed in my brand new batch of spoiler pictures.
The Tom King (James Chase) saga continues in the wake of his confession to Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Jimmy (Nick Miles), with tension aplenty between the legendary Dales couple over the abuser’s treatment of Carl (Charlie Joyce).
But things take yet another turn, with Tom left bloodied outside the church, much to the shock of Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), who stumbles upon him.
The abuser claims that he’s been attacked – though he refuses to go to hospital. Jimmy, who has found his loyalties divided over the whole situation, is left deeply concerned about his nephew’s wellbeing, reassuring Tom that he’s got his back.
The question is: who attacked Tom? That’s exactly what Jimmy intends to find out, with the haulage company owner believing Sam Dingle (James Hooton) to be to blame.
Battle lines are drawn between the King and Dingle men, that’s for sure, but things escalate dramatically at the bonfire night when the villagers burn an effigy of Tom, who loses his cool, taking his frustrations out on Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell).
Will Amelia see Tom for who he truly is?
Elsewhere, Ross Barton’s (Michael Parr) comeback continues to send shockwaves through the village, but one person who is unfazed by the whole thing is fight organiser Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore), who orders him to agree to a rematch – or else!
Left with little choice, Ross agrees to take part and thus Jade turns her attention to Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), threatening his loved ones if he fails to company.
The fight is set to take place at Butlers farm and, worried, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) enlists Aaron’s (Danny Miller) help to keep a watchful eye over the proceedings.
John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) subsequently arrives, just as the brawl gets underway, warning of the police’s impending arrival. With the money missing, Aaron is punched by Deano – and he collapses to the floor, gasping for air.
Will he be okay?
That remains to be seen, but it’s certainly going to be another must-watch of a week for the popular soap!
