Emmerdale legend thanks real-life partner for always making her smile: ‘love you so much’
Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley has paid tribute to her beloved partner on his birthday.
Lisa, best known for playing Mandy Dingle in the show, is in a relationship with Al, who she met through mutual friends.
Despite being engaged, Lisa has revealed that she and Al have decided there’s never going to be a wedding for the two of them.
They reached the decision after Al’s mum died last year aged 79.
Recently, it was Al’s birthday. Amid the celebrations, Lisa posted a picture of them both and wrote an adorable caption alongside.
She said: ‘😍💛🎂HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR AL, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU😍💛🎂 to my baby, HAPPY BIRTHDAY 😍💛🎂 today is your special day, and for the next few days, we can keep celebrating-LOVE YOU SO MUCH-let’s have a gorgeous time, getting older, yet staying younger😍💛🎂 thank you for always making me smile 😍💛🎂 #happybirthday #birthday #love #loveyou #loveyousomuch #today #birthdayboy #celebration #together #togetherforever #always 😍💛🎂.’
Last month, Lisa opened up about her views on adoption after stopping IVF treatment because her eggs ‘weren’t good enough’.
‘I would never adopt,’ Lisa Riley told The Sun.
‘I wouldn’t be able to cope because I would wake up thinking they would always want to go back to their biological parents.’
