Emmerdale continues to deliver that high quality drama we’ve come to expect next week, as confirmed in my new picture spoilers, with Tom King (James Chase) set to turn his attention elsewhere.
The abuser, as viewers know, terrorised Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for months during their marriage, with the village subsequently finding out exactly who he is.
Jimmy (Nick Miles) has jumped to his nephew’s defence, claiming he wouldn’t be capable of such violence, but Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) doesn’t share his faith in Tom, knowing full well he’s guilty.
In fact, Nicola is so adamant that Tom is an abuser that she’s moved her entire family out of Victoria Cottage and into Mulberry to protect them.
Being at odds with Jimmy couldn’t have come at a worse time though, with Angelica (Rebecca Bakes) having only just been released from the secure children’s home.
Angel has struggled to adjust to life back in the village and this very much continues next week, with the teen snapping at Nicola, who suggests the possibility of her returning to school.
Nicola is left concerned when Angel claims that she has an innate evilness within her and, knowing she needs her husband at this time, she contemplates making amends with Jimmy.
But will the couple be able to put their differences about Tom aside to support their daughter?
Speaking of Tom, the villain is up to no good next week as he sets his sights on a new target in Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), claiming that he will air the veterinary practice’s dirty laundry if he fails to give him his job back.
What will Paddy have to say about such a thing?
Elsewhere in the village, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) is absolutely seething when Caleb Miligan (William Ash) doesn’t take his concerns about increased traffic (due to the new warehouse) seriously, prompting the village legend to commandeer one of the lorries – and things take quite a turn!
And there is heartache for Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) as Tina (Samantha Power) spills the beans to Vinny (Bradley Johnson), who subsequently disowns his mum.
The Dingles demand answers while Tina pleads her case but Vinny delivers quite the ultimatum, offering his biological mum the option of staying in his life or to take the £50k, return Zak’s will and leave for good.
It’s going to be quite the week!
