Emmerdale icon ‘confirms’ marriage to real-life partner a year after engagement
Emmerdale star James Moore has appeared to confirm he has married his partner Sophie.
The actor, who plays Ryan Stocks in the ITV soap, has previously announced he and Sophie were engaged last May.
The couple, who have been together since 2019, have now seemingly walked down the aisle, over a year after their engagement.
OK! Magazine reports James made an all-important relationship update on his Facebook page, changing his status from ‘in a relationship’ to ‘married’, before tagging Sophie.
The publication also claims Sophie has changed her surname from Edwards to Moore.
James, who joined the Emmerdale cast in 2018, previously revealed they would be getting married on November 2.
In a post on Instagram last November, he posted a photo of Sophie and wrote: ‘A year from today we’ll be getting married. I can’t wait to start the rest of our lives together.’
Announcing their engagement last year, James and Sophie shared a series of pictures on Instagram in which they posed with their cat and Sophie showed off her engagement ring.
James wrote: ‘We got engaged!!!! (ft our cat).’
They were congratulated by many of James’ Emmerdale co-stars at the time, with Amy Walsh, aka Tracy Metcalfe, commenting: ‘This is the best news! Congratulations to you both.’
Mackenzie Boyd actor Lawrence Rob wrote: ‘Congratulations my boy!!!’
Michael Parr, who recently returned as Ross Barton, added: ‘Go on my son x.’
An Emmerdale spokesperson declined to comment when contacted by Metro.
