Emmerdale confirms unexpected Dingle twist as Tina drops a second bombshell
Emmerdale spoilers follow for Tuesday’s (November 12) episode that is now available to view on ITVX. The episode in question will air on ITV1 on at 7:30pm.
The twists just keep on coming where Tina Dingle (Samantha Power) is concerned, with the resident schemer dropping another bombshell on her clan, revealing that she’s got more children.
Tina, as viewers know, staged her unexpected comeback last month for the funeral of estranged dad Zak (Steve Halliwell), making it quite clear that she was after a quick payday in the form of her share of Wishing Well.
But with Zak having left a will, confirming that Tina doesn’t get a share of the property, the returnee changed tactics, blackmailing Mandy (Lisa Riley) – and thus it came to light that she was Vinny’s (Bradley Johnson) biological son.
Mandy, who had paid Tina off decades ago in order to keep Vinny in her care, was worried about her son finding out the truth and therefore she did Tina’s bidding at first – until Monday (November 11), when she decided to try and run Tina out of town.
Her tactic backfired, however, with Tina returning to the village to spill the beans to Vinny, who subsequently disowned Mandy.
In a bid to find out whether Tina genuinely wanted to be in his life, Vinny offered her £50,000 0 the catch being that in order to get her hands on the cash she would have to hand over Zak’s will and vow to never return to the village.
Tina agreed to take the cash, which left Vinny disappointed that his mum wanted nothing to do with him, but the joke was on Tina as she opened the parcel to find nothing more than cut up pieces of paper where the money should’ve been.
Vinny ordered her to leave at once – and he wasn’t the only one, with the rest of the Dingles confronting Tina outside her caravan, demanding that she up sticks and leave the village over all the damage she’s done.
But Tina wasn’t finished with the shocks as she claimed that she wasn’t after the cash for herself but rather for her other children, which implies that Vinny has siblings he didn’t know about.
Is she telling the truth? Or is she simply trying to pull the wool over their eyes in a bid to stay in the village? Cain (Jeff Hordley) wasn’t keen on waiting to find out as he set fire to her caravan, much to Tina’s horror!
Has the hard-man succeeded in running Tina out of the village? And will Vinny investigate as to whether or not there is any truth to her claims of having more children?
