Emmerdale lines up an emotional week for the residents of the village and the viewers at home, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with a legend undergoing surgery while another spirals out of control.
The ITV soap is gearing up for a special episode that will see Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) undergo her brain surgery. The popular character, as fans know, was diagnosed with a brain tumour two months ago and has been apprehensive about the thought of the procedure.
The day prior to the surgery proves just as stressful for her as she prepares for the worst – and she’s not alone in that respect, with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) struggling to deal with the prospect of losing his one true love.
The aforementioned special episode will follow Moira on her surgery journey while Cain’s emotions are all over the place, with the story playing out in reverse order.
And Caleb Miligan (William Ash) receives a big shock as he stumbles upon Cain, who is sporting rather bloodied hands, which begs the question of what exactly the hard-man has done.
This isn’t the only shock in store for Caleb during the week in question either as he’s left reeling by the arrival of estranged daughter Steph.
Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly), who recently took a break from the village, stages her comeback during the week in question and she is equally shocked to set her sights on Steph, who confirms she was in contact with Helen prior to her death.
As old wounds are revisited, Ruby loses it and slaps her daughter. Ruby is apologetic and tries to make amends but she is left in shock when her dad Anthony turns up in the cafe as she realises that Steph set this up.
And that’s all just for starters! We also have a mystery intruder at Home Farm and a couple gets engaged too.
t’s going to be quite the week, that’s for sure.
