Emmerdale spoilers: Samson exit twist, Jai heartbreak and Matty in grave danger
Emmerdale viewers can expect plenty of drama this week as Samson Dingle plans to leave the village, Matty Barton finds himself in grave danger and Jai Sharma is left heartbroken
Emmerdale continues to bring the drama this week.
Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) is hopeful having established that his cellmate Les (Stacey J Gough) has accepted him as a trans man and is happy to relay this to wife Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) when she visits.
He’s delighted to hear they have a new solicitor and could be out of prison soon. As visiting ends, Amy’s glad Matty is more positive. However, as she watches him go, she’s approached by Robbo, who she mistakes for Les.
Robbo’s sympathetic front gets the truth about Matty from Amy, who is oblivious to the danger she has now put her husband in. Matty returns to his cell as Les leaves to see his solicitor, once he’s gone, Robbo arrives into the cramped cell, and Matty’s blood runs cold to discover this thug has spoken to his wife.

Matty is trapped in his cell and terrified when Robbo reveals he’s learnt the truth and the menacing transphobe closes in on him. Elsewhere, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is seething to hear Josh and Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) intention to leave for their European trip sooner than before, vowing to stop them.
Moira bursts into the Dingles and levels her accusations about Samson leaving early at Sam Dingle (James Hooton) who defends his son’s innocence. Soon, Sam is convinced to let him leave as he promises to be back before the trial but Moira is on a mission to stop him going.

Later in the week, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) is beginning to suspect Samson may be lying and when Josh threatens Samson, putting pressure on him to continue lying to the police, Lydia observes their interaction. Moira and Lydia meet and Moira implores her to help but will she?
Also, It’s awkward between Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) until she mentions she has missed him. Will that change things?
