Emmerdale Samson Dingle’s downfall ‘sealed’ as unlikely villager set to ‘sort him out’
Emmerdale's Samson Dingle has been causing all sorts of drama in the village, but fans are convinced that his downfall is about to come - thanks to a beloved villager
Emmerdale’s Samson Dingle, portrayed by Sam Hall, might be about to face the music for his recent actions.
The character has been stirring up trouble alongside his mischievous mate Josh Cope (Osian Morgan), leading to a botched robbery at The Hide that saw Matty (Ash Palmisciano) threatened.
The situation took a dangerous turn when Josh pushed Samson into Matty, who was holding a knife, resulting in Samson getting stabbed. Josh then convinced Samson to falsely accuse Matty of intentionally stabbing him.
This led to Matty being sent to prison, where he feared his transgender identity would make him a target. However, he found an unlikely ally in cellmate Les (Stacey J Gough), who offered protection against the more aggressive inmates.
Samson has caused plenty of drama
But Matty’s luck ran out when Les was released from prison during a heart-wrenching episode on Tuesday (July 9). In a shocking turn of events, Matty was later hospitalised after a brutal beating. While his family initially suspected Robbo (John O’Neill) was responsible, it was revealed that Les was the attacker, reports the Express.
In the final moments of the episode, it was disclosed that Matty had asked Les to beat him up in order to get a temporary reprieve from prison life.
Fans reckon that while Matty Barton is serving time, Samson Dingle will face some serious comeuppance. Social media is ablaze with theories that Les is set to storm Emmerdale and settle scores.
