Emmerdale icon left sobbing after eventful night out with friends
Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) returned to the Emmerdale village in Friday’s (July 12) episode with a very sore head and little to no memory of what happened the night before.
Last week, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) invited Rhona and Marlon (Mark Charnock) over for an evening of drinks and board games with him and Mandy (Lisa Riley). While the trio sat down and got started, Mandy became more focused on drinking martinis.
Frustrated, Mandy tried to tell her loved ones they should ‘loosen up’ and have more drinks, but they really didn’t want to.
The more Mandy drank, the more she lost control of her mouth and blurted out that she finds Rhona incredibly boring.
The next day, Mandy spent time in the café with Paddy, who wanted her to apologise to Rhona.
Mandy managed to say sorry, but wasn’t willing to retract the comments about Rhona being uptight and dull. Rhona tried to say that she knows how to enjoy herself on a night out – but definitely got a little carried away with trying to prove this to Mandy.
In tonight’s instalment, Mandy and Rhona returned home after a night out. The fact Rhona could barely walk in a straight line and was wearing her jacket over her head was more than enough to establish she partied hard…it’s just a shame she couldn’t remember most if it.
Hiding away at Paddy’s so Marlon didn’t see her, Rhona experienced an overwhelming amount of emotion as she tearfully dealt with her hangover and her blurred memory.
Mandy helped Rhona but found the entire thing completely hilarious. Sitting down to relish in the fact she felt absolutely fine and Rhona didn’t, Mandy apologised to her new friend and took back the comments about her being boring.
Mandy Dingle said that Rhona Goskirk is ‘fun’…who would’ve thought it?
