Emmerdale confirms nasty Christmas Day twist for Kim Tate
Christmas Day could be the day Kim Tate (Claire King) is finally destroyed in Emmerdale.
Well hasn’t Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) turned out to be right old double-crossing heartbreaker.
Having managed to convince Kim to tear up their divorce proceedings, he’s now on a mission to ruin her – and it’s working.
In an absolutely unexpected turn of events, Will and Kim decided their marriage was back on again after Kim thought she’d accidentally had him killed and it left her upset.
He came back from the dead, and the pair realised they’re still in love. Boom, the divorce was off, and they were falling back into bed.
Then came a call for Will that changed everything. He was summoned by Peter, who it turns out had been pulling Will’s strings as part of a plot to bring down Kim this entire time. Will told him he wanted out, Peter said tough luck, and now Will is now part of a plot to destroy his own wife.
He must continue the ruse that he and Kim are loved up, all the while being Peter’s puppet.
But Will is caught off guard when Peter reveals there has been a change in circumstance. There is a third party involved delaying proceedings. Will demands to know who it is, but Peter mysteriously tells him to wait.
Will is consumed with guilt as he would actually rather be repairing things with his wife rather than be part of her destruction. His guilt is worsened when Kim goes the extra mile to make Christmas their fresh start. She truly believes she has her husband back.
Then Will makes a huge gesture – on Peter’s orders. He asks Kim if she’d like to renew their vows on Christmas Day.
The Home Farm queen is lost for words and becomes uncharacteristically emotional at his re-proposal.
Will is tortured at hastening his wife’s demise.
Who is the mystery third person? And is Kim really as oblivious as she seems?
