Emmerdale Peter’s secret boss ‘exposed’ as fans ‘work out’ jaw-dropping twist
Emmerdale's Peter is working with a mystery person who is plotting against Kim Tate - and fans are convinced they know exactly who it is and they are in for a huge return
Emmerdale viewers reckon they’re onto a cunning schemer pulling the strings to take down Kim Tate, played by Claire King.
In the latest drama-filled episode from the Dale, a scene rife with tension unfolded at Home Farm when Peter (David Michaels) rocked up unexpectedly.
He had a cheeky retort for Will Taylor (the legendary Dean Andrews) who wasn’t chuffed about the surprise visit: “I let myself in, the kitchen door was open,” said Peter, oozing cool.
Will challenged the uninvited guest about not giving him a buzz first but Peter was all sass and dismissiveness, telling him to “calm down” ’cause everything was “under control.”

Peter later said: “I’m here with a message from the boss”. But Will wasn’t having any of it, snapping back: “Oh the mysterious boss in his own time zone. I’m starting to run out of patience with the both of you.”, reports Leeds Live.
Not missing a beat, the sly solicitor hinted at more devious plans: “He’s had another idea, to make Christmas even more of a day to remember, and truth me, you’re really going to love this one.”
Kim recently realised her heart still beats for Will, reigniting their fiery love affair despite a rocky past but there’s been a plot twist with Will initially teaming up with Peter to exact revenge on Kim though he seems to have had second thoughts.
Joe left Emmerdale six years ago after Kim ordered a hit on him when he got too comfortable at Home Farm and started meddling with the company accounts. He faked his own death, only to be confirmed alive months later.
One viewer took to Twitter, speculating: “This “boss” that Will and his cronie are talking about… Is it the return of Joe Tate? @NedPorteous? My wife loved his character, left way too soon #emmerdale.”

Another fan tweeted: “Taking center stage this Christmas at the forefront is Will and Kim! Who is Peter working with? Is it Kim or maybe Joe Tate or Jamie? Is she playing Will at his own game and working with Peter? Christmas Day 2024 is NOT to be missed.”
A third fan joined in the speculation, tweeting: “If Kim’s mystery enemy isn’t Joe Tate I’ll be very very disappointed and if it turns out to be miserable Jamie I’ll be fuming.” Another viewer wondered: “I wonder if Joe Tate is the other person abroad plotting against Kim? #Emmerdale,”.
