Spiked Emmerdale character involved in car crash on way to hospital
Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) day went from bad to worse in Thursday’s (July 18) episode of Emmerdale as she got spiked by Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco).
Rose wasn’t intending on spiking her daughter with some dodgy prosecco. She is currently working with Ruby (Beth Cordingly) to bring down Kim Tate (Claire King) and planned to spike Will (Dean Andrews), but her idea went terribly wrong when Dawn and Kim entered the kitchen.
Life has been nothing but stressful for Dawn ever since little Evan’s leukaemia diagnosis. As it stands, the family at Home Farm are currently trying their best to decrease the amount of germs at their home, so Evan doesn’t pick up any infections.
Essentially, things need to be as comfortable and calm as possible for the sake of baby Evan – what a shame Rose never received this memo.
After slipping some drugs into a glass, Rose got a shock when Kim and Dawn turned up.
Getting muddled with the spiked drink and the amount of glasses, Rose had no choice but to play a waiting game to find out who had taken the drug.
At first, Rose thought Will was still the target when he started to feel poorly. He went for a lay down and then returned, but concluded he had just experienced indigestion.
By this point, Dawn had left Home Farm to visit Evan in hospital.
Moments later, Kim, Will and Rose were informed Dawn had been in a car crash.

With Rose nominating herself to stay and look after Clemmie and Lucas, Kim and Will rushed to hospital. There, the couple questioned Dawn and wondered what had gone on.
Attention then turned to the possibility of Dawn relapsing and taking drugs. Dawn was incredibly hurt Kim made this accusation and then said she believes she’s been spiked.
During her chat with PC Swirling, Dawn lied and said someone could’ve slipped something into her coffee she picked up. Back at Home Farm though, Dawn set about confronting her family to get the truth.
She told Billy (Jay Kontzle), Kim, Rose and Will that she knows she is looking at the person who spiked her, and couldn’t help but wonder if Kim was responsible.
As soon as Rose clocked Dawn’s accusation, she took advantage. When Dawn highlighted Kim’s history of spiking her, Rose was like a dog with a bone. Working the situation in her favour, Rose was incredibly satisfied when Kim tried to protest her innocence, and everyone struggled to believe her.
Now Kim looks like the guilty party, does that mean Rose and Ruby’s plan will end up being a success?
