Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle triggers huge mystery as Tom King takes the stand in spoiler video

Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is set to leave her family in a panic in Emmerdale tonight, as the enormity of the pressure on her overwhelms her.

His faked suicide attempt plot thwarted, Tom King (James Chase) is seem getting ready for court.

But the smarmy abuser thinks that, as Belle is in a bad way, he will be found not guilty.

Putting on his suit, he allows himself a smug smile, feeling certain that the day will go his way.

Meanwhile, a worried Belle writes a note and places it under a framed picture of her beloved dad Zak.

As she then runs out of the house, those who love her face a search to track her down.

And viewers will be left wondering if she will turn up to court – and what the outcome will mean for Tom.

‘Belle is very daunted,’ actress Eden Taylor-Draper told us. ‘She has not seen him in a while and she knows this is either going to go one way or the other.

I think she’s a bit overwhelmed to know she will be facing him in court. She feels like it’s the last hurdle that she needs to get over but it’s not knowing what the outcome will be. It’s scary.

‘There are so many points in which Belle thinks it is not going to go ahead. And then when she does think it’s happening the doubts she has whether she can actually do this.

‘To stand up and face him in court and say what he has done to her – because of course he still has such power over her. Or if she does manage to face him and put all of her cards on the table and Tom manages to still get his way out of it.
