Hollyoaks confirms unexpected and devastating twist for Lucas Hay
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Monday’s (March 3) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm.
Lucas Hay’s (Oscar Curtis) life hangs in the balance after he took a drink from a cup containing drugs.
The teen, as viewers know, has been left unnerved by the hold that Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) has over Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith).
After getting wind of the fact that the gangster is storing stolen goods at Weirside View, he decided to take action to protect his loved ones, phoning the police.
Dillon and Frankie were horrified to get wind of such a thing, but not nearly as horrified as Rex, who was seething to learn of Lucas’ actions.
The villain swooped into action, making some calls, and he was relieved to discover that Lucas’ report had been intercepted.
In a bid to use the situation to his advantage, Rex told Frankie and Dillon that – in order to make it up to him – they can deal drugs during the party.
Frankie and Dillon had quite a decision to make and ultimately they agreed to do so.
Lucas, meanwhile, was left concerned over the influence that Rex has over his boyfriend and best friend but when a conversation with Ste (Kieron Richardson) proved fruitless, he decided to attend the party.
Witnessing Frankie selling drugs, Lucas wasted little time in confronting her.

Frankie, however, claimed that she and Dillon were simply doing such as thing to save his skin after his filing of a report to the police, urging him to go home as he’s being ‘miserable’.
Lucas stated that he wasn’t being miserable and took the cup from her hand, which contained drugs, drinking from it. In emotional scenes, Dillon found his boyfriend in a bad way.

Will he be okay?
Dillon and Frankie are being groomed by Rex as part of a child exploitation operation being run by Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and DI Banks.
The episode in question, which feels inherently Hollyoaks, saw a number of big twists, including the outcome of Robbie Roscoe’s (Charlie Wernham) disappearance, but we’re keeping tight-lipped on that for now.
Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 7am on Channel 4’s streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
