Cleo asks Sienna out in Hollyoaks as sparks fly once more
Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is taken aback in Hollyoaks next week when Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) takes a chance on romance and asks her to be her date.
Cleo, as viewers know, found support from Sienna last month in the wake of her ordeal at the hands of Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti), with the two women forging a strong bond in the process.
The former love rivals were caught off guard by the spark that ignited and they shared a passionate kiss, unsure of what exactly this meant for them moving forward.
In the aftermath of their moment of passion, Sienna and Cleo have largely stayed away from one another, allowing the other space to come to terms with what had transpired.
Next week, however, they’re back in each other’s orbit when Sienna returns to the village following a much-needed holiday with Sophie and Sebastian in the wake of all the Blake drama that’s unfolded since the beginning of the year.
Cleo is preparing for a job interview when she gets wind of Sienna’s return and she’s caught off guard to learn of her comeback.
The week in question proves a tough one for Cleo, with Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) wheeled past her by guards at the hospital.
Mercedes instructs her cousin to stay away, which prompts a panic attack for Cleo, with Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) coming to her aid, offering comfort.
Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) fears something is up with Joel, which prompts some conflict in his marriage. Joel spots Cleo with Sienna, but Cleo is quick to offer him some advice, encouraging him to focus on his marriage.

Cleo, meanwhile, decides to take a chance on romance as she confides in Sienna before asking her to be her date to an event.
Will Sienna say yes? And is this truly the beginning of something special?
Anna Passey certainly hopes so, telling Metro previously: ‘I am a huge fan of [Cleo and Sienna]!
When Sienna gets a partner in the village I always think: “Is this person good for her? We’re going to get the story, but – as a human – are they a good match?” and I think Cleo is a resounding yes.
Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 7am on Channel 4’s streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
