Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has seen two big storylines collide after Freddie Roscoe’s return to the village.
Freddie asked for his daughter Lexi’s help in a bid to incriminate Grace Black for Abe Fielding’s murder. Grace previously framed Mercedes McQueen for the killing, but it was actually Jez Blake who strangled him to death.
In tonight’s episode, Freddie instructed Lexi to feign a dizzy spell so she and Grace could get out of the house. As they headed to the hospital, Freddie snuck into the apartment, looking for any evidence that would pin the crime on Grace.
He found a box with two phones in it and quickly grabbed the one that was ringing, but he had to make a swift exit when Grace came back suddenly.
Later, Freddie rang the same number, unaware of who was on the other side.
Ste Hay picked up his partner Rex Gallagher’s phone to Freddie, saying: “I know you’ve been helping Grace.”
“I’m gonna find you, and I’m gonna make you talk,” he continued. “You’re a dead man walking.”
A puzzled Ste realised his boyfriend must’ve been involved in some dodgy affairs with Grace, though Freddie got the wrong end of the stick.
While Rex isn’t implicated in Abe’s murder, he has been working with Grace on a criminal gang that exploits Dillon Ray and Frankie Osborne. The two teens were groomed and made to sell drugs to clients in exchange for luxury items.
Now Ste knows that something is up with Rex, will he confront him?
