Hollyoaks to air shocking return as Dodger Savage’s past is revealed

Hollyoaks is set to air a shocking return next week and revisit one of the show’s most iconic villains, Nico Blake.
Viewers will remember that serial killer Nico is the daughter of Dodger Savage and Sienna Blake and was conceived years before the pair discovered that they were, in fact, siblings.
Nico’s biological dad Dodger recently returned to the village after a decade away. He spent years on the run after taking the wrap for Nico pushing Will to his death.
He is now an undercover police officer, intent on bringing down a criminal operation that is led by corrupt copper DI Banks, with teenagers Frankie and Dillon currently being exploited.
A dramatic series of events will see Dodger’s secret identity under threat, and while he looks to leave the village with Maxine, Grace and Rex will give him an ultimatum that could change everything.
But also next week, Dodger opens up to Maxine about what happened during his years on the run, and it will be revealed that Rex took his granddaughter Victoria away from him.
Viewers last saw Nico’s baby Victoria put into care after Sienna killed her daughter in self-defence.
However, in upcoming episodes, Victoria, now a young girl, will be seen for the first time in the back seat of DI Banks’ car.
Digital Spy understands that Victoria isn’t being exploited like Frankie and Dillon, and DI Banks is currently caring for her as his own daughter.
As Dodger’s investigation into Banks’ operation continues, will he be reunited with his granddaughter in the process, and will Sienna also discover the truth?
Victoria is played by 9-year-old Harriet O’Shea, though it isn’t known how significant the character’s role will be on her return to the village.
Actor Danny Mac recently teased that there could be some familiar faces returning to Hollyoaks as Dodger’s mysterious past is revealed.
“His history is going to slowly feed back into the village and may even bring other people back into the village, perhaps!” he said.
