Hollyoaks’ Lucas to reveal major fear ahead of life-saving operation

Hollyoaks’ Lucas Hay is set to reveal a major fear ahead of a life-saving operation.

The character recently learned that he has a brain tumour and needs to undergo a craniotomy to remove it.

He has also been consumed by the fact that Dillon Ray hasn’t been by his side, with his on-off boyfriend currently involved in the criminal gang exploitation story alongside Frankie Osborne.

Earlier this week, on the advice of Lucas’s dad Ste, Dillon broke the hard news to Lucas that he should not come on their holiday to Egypt due to his condition and broke up with him.

Dillon and Frankie were later bundled into a car by a man in a cap, having been tricked by Grace Black into thinking she was helping them escape.

In new scenes airing next week, Ste is worried after learning that Lucas hasn’t slept before his pre-operation consultation, and is concerned that he hasn’t been taking care of himself.

However, Lucas hits back at his dad, revealing his big fear over his failing relationship with Dillon.

Ste decides to give him some fatherly advice, noting that if he isn’t able to get better, he won’t be able to fix the relationship.

How will Lucas react?

Speaking previously about not having Dillon by his side, Lucas actor Oscar Curtis told Digital Spy: “Deep down, all Lucas wants is Dillon. That’s what he wants and what he needs, but whether he can have it is another question!”
