Hollyoaks fans ‘work out missing Lucas Hay’s real whereabouts’ amid baby twist

Viewers of Hollyoaks are questioning Lucas Hay’s real reasons for being away from the village after the time jump, amid a young offenders twist.

Amid his sister Leah Barnes’ shock baby storyline, Lucas has been noticeably absent while his partner Dillon Ray remains in the village. Lucas should be there given his sister’s pregnancy drama and the fact his father Ste Hay has been in a coma for a year, after an explosion that claimed the life of his stepfather James Nightingale.

But Lucas has not been shown once, while Dillon did say he had seen him. Dillon had also received a message on his phone confirming a visit to a young offenders institution.

It wasn’t revealed who was there or who he was seeing, but fans are convinced it’s Lucas. It’s not been confirmed if this is the case or what Lucas would have done to have landed himself in there.

But some fans think they’ve worked out what would have led to Lucas being sent away, and it possibly involves Leah. Another theory is linked to Lucas’ pal Frankie Osborne and her abuse storyline.

With viewers yet to find out if Charlie Dean really is the dad of Leah’s baby, some viewers have wondered whether Lucas attacked him for getting his sister pregnant. Meanwhile, another theory suggested Lucas may have attacked Frankie’s brother JJ after finding out he had sickeningly sexually abused his own twin sister.

One fan posted on social media: “Lucas could of hurt Charlie due to believing he’s the father to Leah’s baby 🙁 , Charlie my have left the village due to this.” Another theory read: “I think he’s found out what JJ did to Frankie and he’s done something to JJ as him and Frankie are good friends.”
