Natasha, who has also appeared in four episodes of Emmerdale, joined the Hollyoaks cast in 1997.
Her character became known as a ‘maneater’ after a series of affairs.
At the time, Natasha relished the role, explaining: “I’m a bit of a femme fatale, as they call it. I’ve managed to wreck about two marriages, one being the main married couple of the show.
“It’s a brilliant character. She unfortunately gets rather obsessed with the married men and she goes a bit nutty.”
One of those affairs ruined Kurt’s marriage to his wife Ruth, who was also Kate’s step-sister.
Kate never saw eye to eye with Ruth and when they became part of each other’s family through their parents’ relationship she sought the ultimate revenge.
The nation was torn over the betrayal, with some slamming the cheating pair while others felt they made a better couple than Kurt and Ruth ever did.
The dysfunctional family dynamic went on to earn a nod in the Most Dramatic Storyline category at the Inside Soap Awards.
In an even more shocking storyline, Kate was introduced to her twin brother Joe, whom she had been separated from her entire life and the pair developed romantic feelings for each other.
The siblings shared a kiss and, despite his best efforts, Joe was unable to control his feelings towards Kate.
It ultimately led Kate to move away in 1999 as she couldn’t deal with his incestuous desires.
In the era of the lads’ mags, Natasha was a firm favourite appearing scantily clad in the likes of FHM.
She’s still in the industry and now also runs an acting school catering to all ages from two-year-olds through to pensioners.
Earlier this year she put out a Facebook post offering a first session for just £10.
And she appears to be a hit with her classes, who have showered her with gifts for her efforts.
