Hollyoaks ‘split’ for Lucas and Dillon as distance is confirmed
Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) attempts to put some distance between himself and Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) in Hollyoaks next week following his boyfriend’s return to the village.
Lucas, as viewers know, was in young offenders for a spell during the show’s ‘missing’ year, having attacked JJ Osborne (Ryan Mulvey) for sexually abusing Frankie (Isabelle Smith).
During his other half’s absence, Dillon made the biggest of betrayals, with an unexpected development leaving fans of the Channel 4 soap reeling as it was confirmed that he was the father of Leah Barnes’ (Ela-May Demircan) baby.
Yes, really!
His actions have certainly left him feeling guilty and upcoming scenes will see him forced to explain himself when Frankie – Lucas’ bestie – finds out what he’s done.
Frankie will be left with food for thought regarding whether or not to tell Lucas that his boyfriend cheated on him with his sister – and she has very little time to decide on the matter, with Lucas staging his long-awaited comeback to the village later this week.
After a heartfelt reunion with Frankie, Lucas seeks out Dillon, with the boyfriends sharing a warm hug. The question is: will Dillon confess to his betrayal? Or will Frankie do it for him?
Or, upon seeing Dillon and Lucas back together, will Frankie perhaps decide to keep shtum?
Those are the questions and you’ll have to wait and see what exactly happens in respect to the boys’ relationship. But what I can tell you is that – despite having only just reunited – Dillon keeps his distance from Lucas next week, despite not wanting to do so.
This certainly doesn’t bode well.
By this stage, have HayRay split up? Does Lucas know the truth? That remains to be seen but the teen is certainly in need of support, with Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) urging Ste (Kieron Richardson) to step up for his son, who truly needs him.
As Oscar Curtis told us at the red carpet of the Inside Soap Awards last month, tissues will be a necessity for fans.
One to watch: Monday October 21 at 7pm on E4 or watch from 7am on Channel 4 streaming.
