Lucas takes unexpected revenge on Dillon in Hollyoaks after baby bombshell
Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) isn’t in a very forgiving mood in Hollyoaks next week following his discovery that Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) is his nephew’s dad.
Dillon, as viewers know, cheated on Lucas with his sister Leah Barnes (Ela-May Demircan) during the Channel 4 soap’s ‘missing’ year, which was skipped as part of the time-jump.
The twist in question left fans of the couple, affectionally known as HayRay, absolutely devastated, with viewers having hoped for a longterm future for the pair.
Lucas, upon his release from young offenders, couldn’t wait to reunite with Dillon but, riddled with guilt, Dillon decided to end things with his beloved beau, who was ultimately left heartbroken.
Dillon refrained from telling him the reason why he called it quits but Lucas knew that there was more to it and thus he desperately tried to get his former flame to open up – to no avail.
The truth, however, was revealed on Monday (November 18) and it’s safe to say that Lucas is positively heartbroken by the calibre of the betrayal committed by his sister and his former boyfriend.
Next week, he’s left bitter that Leah is living up at university in America while he helps care for her and Dillon’s baby.
Dillon, meanwhile, ends up looking after baby James and he struggles to settle him – just as Lucas arrives on his doorstep with his nephew’s teddy in hand.
Will the former couple be able to get along? That seems unlikely as subsequent scenes see things take quite a turn, with Lucas going out of his way to make Dillon jealous.
Dillon, who is starting to be true to himself in the realisation that he misses Lucas, sees a social media post from his former partner – and thus he decides to go down to the cafe to join him.
It’s at this point, however, that Lucas decides to make his ex jealous. The question is: will his efforts prove successful? Will Dillon know what it feels like to have his heart broken in the same way that Lucas did?
And is there no hope at all for HayRay?
