Hollyoaks ‘confirms’ Dodger’s return story as character gets set to bring him back
Hollyoaks has dropped the first hints of Dodger Savage’s (Danny Mac) return, with the character set to receive his first mention in quite some time in the lead up to the festive season.
Myra-Pochantas Savage-McQueen mentions to Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) that she misses Dodger, who is her father, given that it was his birthday on the previous week.
This admission leaves Jez with food for thought.
Will he set about making contact with Dodger – who was last seen over a decade ago – and bring him back to the village? Or will it be someone – or something – else that proves to be the catalyst in his return?
Jez certainly has a lot to update Dodger on given that he’s his biological father. A controversial twist earlier this year confirmed that Patrick – who was thought to be Dodger and Sienna Blake’s (Anna Passey) father – was actually their uncle, meaning that Jez is their dad.
Sienna had a tough time getting her head around such a thing but, following the show’s time jump, she seems to have got used to the idea, having built a strong relationship with her new dad.
Dodger – we assume – remains in the dark about the parentage update, so a comeback couldn’t have come at a more fitting time.
