“Hollyoaks Shocks Fans with Abe and Peri Wedding Twist in Early Streaming Release”

Hollyoaks has aired a shocking incident at Abe Fielding and Peri Lomax’s wedding, in the show’s latest episode.

This week, Cleo McQueen put her escape plan into action, telling her abusive partner Abe that her eating disorder relapse means she doesn’t have long to live and convincing him to marry her outside so she could die happy.

On the eve of Abe’s real wedding to Peri, he and Cleo read their vows at the folly, before Cleo collapsed – with Abe unable to revive her. He panicked and put her body in boot of his car, but he was spotted by Martha.

Believing she was dead, Abe threw Cleo’s body in the river and ran away. But Cleo then got herself out of the water and collapsed on the riverbank.

In today’s episode, Abe looked guilty as he returned to the village in a daze, and he threw away the ring that Cleo had given him.

Meanwhile, Marie helped Peri get ready for her wedding and she spotted the cut on her head. As Peri lied to explain it away, Leela realised that her injury was caused by Abe.

Leela later confronted her daughter, but Peri defended Abe and blamed herself for what happened. When Leela made her feelings clear about Abe, Peri said that she shouldn’t come to the wedding if she couldn’t support their relationship.

With Leela reluctantly on board, Peri got ready to leave, and Ste was emotional seeing her in her wedding dress. Marie lied and said Abe was already at the folly, but Peri was devastated when she arrived and realised that he wasn’t there.

Marie found her son hiding in his flat, and he admitted that he had done a terrible thing. But Marie thought he was talking about the incident with Peri and told Abe that this wedding will be a clean slate for him.

Elsewhere, a passer-by woke Cleo up at the riverbank, and she set off to try and stop the wedding. She chases down Pearl in her car and she agrees to give her a lift to the village.

The wedding party were told that Abe was on his way, but at that moment Cleo arrived at the folly in her muddy makeshift wedding dress.

She became emotional when she saw Mercedes and began walking towards her, but she was suddenly hit by a car – driven by Marie, with Abe in the passenger seat.

As Cleo lay motionless on the ground, Mercedes asked for an ambulance to be called and Abe looked shocked. Will Cleo be okay?
