Rob Donovan (Marc Bayliss) is a desperate man next week in Coronation Street, as these new pictures show the moment his prison officer sidekick Mandy takes Carla Connor (Alison King) hostage.
As things unfold, it doesn’t take long for Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) to begin an investigation into Rob and Mandy’s plan. But will they get to the truth?
Also in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) continues to feel the pressure as her pregnancy journey continues, new face Mick (Joe Layton) causes trouble already, and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) realises Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) is up to something.
There’s also a welcomed return in the form of Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh).
She is back as part of Eileen Grimshaw’s (Sue Cleaver) exit storyline, but just how she will impact her sister’s decision to depart the cobbles remains to be seen.
In the hospital, Kevin (Michael Le Vell) wakes up from his operation after his cancer diagnosis, but is troubled to realise Abi (Sally Carman) isn’t by his side.
She also starts therapy next week, but will the session be enough to help Abi see that she’s now on a positive healing journey?
