Hollyoaks confirms surprising new Prince McQueen story after heartbreaking news
Prince has a fight on his hands.
Hollyoaks has teased a heartbreaking storyline for Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) in next week’s episodes. Months after the character’s estranged ex-girlfriend Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) left the village with their son, Theo, and moved to Dubai, Prince is set to receive some upsetting news.
As fans will remember, it was back in August that Prince learned of Zoe’s engagement to a mystery man abroad, who intended to adopt Theo. So, when he’s sent an official document requesting permission for his son, Theo, to be adopted, Prince is utterly devastated.
“The news that his son could be adopted by another man is really tough for Prince to take,” explains our insider. “It feels like he’s losing any connection he has to Theo, who is already on the other side of the world. Prince won’t take this lying down, and he turns to the online world to find community – but will this help or will it make the whole situation worse?”
Prior to Zoe’s surprising move abroad, Prince’s relationship with the mother of his child had been strained to say the least.
When Zoe first fell pregnant, Prince was still involved with Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), and while the pair went on to reconnect, getting engaged in the time jump, it was later revealed that Prince had cheated on Zoe with Dilly, who was soon after murdered by Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield).

With their relationship well and truly over, Zoe decided that she was ready for a fresh start and moved with Theo to Dubai. The episode, which aired in January 2025, marked the end of Garcia Brown’s three-year stint on the Channel 4 soap, after making her debut on the show in February 2022.
Alongside Prince’s heartbreak, next week’s episodes will also see Donny (Louis Emerick) and Dodger (Danny Mac) discover Sully’s (Harry French) real identity, following their traumatic attack.

Meanwhile, Cleo (Nadine Mulkerrin) will continue to navigate her health struggles after welcoming her baby early, and Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) will find the strength to offer kindness to a member of the community while continuing to mourn her daughter, Peri (Ruby O’Donnell).
