Hollyoaks’ Donny to face tough questions from Misbah as pressure mounts

Hollyoaks‘ Donny Clark will face some tough questions from Misbah Maalik in upcoming scenes as the pressure mounts for the detective. Donny has had a harrowing few months on the soap after he and Dodger were brutally attacked by gang members Sully and Griff.
During a 30th anniversary episode of Hollyoaks Later, Donny and Dodger attempted to stop a robbery, when the gang members realised they were police.
While we initially believed that only Dodger was raped by Griff, as Donny was forced to watch, we later found out that Donny had been raped by Sully.
Following the ordeal, Donny beat Griff to death and covered up the crime with Warren, disposing of Griff’s body in the woods.
He later confessed to Dodger, who has been struggling to come to terms with what happened to them, that he had killed Griff. However, he kept it secret that he had been raped by Sully.
Since Sully, who is Froggy Black’s son, was revealed to be an undercover police officer, he is now working alongside Dodger and Donny on the police force while attempting to track down Griff.
Meanwhile, Donny’s daughter Gemma has been plotting with Sully and Froggy to ruin her dad’s life. But in upcoming scenes, she questions whether she wants to go through with it.
In scenes that will air on Tuesday, 16 December, Gemma starts having doubts about destroying Donny’s new life when Froggy steps in and attempts to set her straight.
When Donny treats his family to lunch at The Hutch, things turn unpleasant when Sully enters the restaurant.
With Misbah picking up on the tension, she questions Donny about what is going on, and Donny is unable to provide her with answers. Will he ever tell Misbah the truth about the traumatic event?
Elsewhere next week, Warren will work with his ex Gemma in an attempt to help Mercedes pay off her mystery blackmailer, who viewers know is actually Gemma. When Mercedes spots Warren with Gemma, she questions his feelings for his ex.
