Does Frankie die on Hollyoaks? Character’s fate teased after exit news
Hollyoaks viewers were left fearing Frankie Osborne could be killed off on the Channel 4 soap after a worrying cliffhanger on Wednesday that followed a deadly crash
The latest episode of Hollyoaks may have teased a shocking death in a worrying cliffhanger.
Fans witnessed more than one character left in serious danger this week in a devastating car crash. New family the Keanes were taken taken to hospital, with teenager Caleb’s future unclear after a serious injury after he was thrown through the van windscreen.
It wasn’t until the end of the episode where the fates of those in the second vehicle were hinted at. Charlie Dean, Vicky Grant and Frankie Osborne were all in the car that crashed after clipping the Keanes’ van.
The car wasn’t spotted when emergency services rescued the Keanes, with them initially found by other village residents. It wasn’t until their worried loved ones wondered where the trio were that they were located.
As Wednesday’s episode ended, Beth Keane was raging over her stepson Caleb’s condition, while we saw Vicky and Frankie wheeled into the hospital. There was no update on how they were as they had only just arrived.
Given spoilers had claimed an exit was on the way for Frankie, who was leaving for London, fans have wondered if she will be killed off. Others fear for Vicky believing there is a death on the way.
A fan said: “So now it’s out of Frankie and Vicky which I was so sure they were both gonna be fine.” Another posted: “What the hell please let my frankie be ok,” as a third said: “Spoiler… she dies.”
Meanwhile, Beth actress Rebecca Ryan told The Mirror about her character’s tension with father Jack Osborne. She shared: “She doesn’t really know much about her family and as far as Beth’s concerned, Jack’s left her to get on with her life and she’s not really had any contact with him.
“She thinks that Darren’s had this great life, the dad, Jack’s been there the whole time and they’ve had a great relationship and I’ve just been left. I think she comes in wanting to sort of reconnect but also wanting to go, look at my life. I didn’t need you, I’ve done all this without you.
“There’s definitely a resentment on Beth’s side because she’s seen them all living together, all getting on with their lives and she has a perception of them having a happy fabulous life without her. Jack is really trying to sort of make it up to Beth, snd she’s struggling with it a bit.
“She’s very feisty and she’s not afraid to kick off at anyone and everyone that gets in the way, but she’s fiercely loyal to her family. I’m ready to go to war basically over my family. She’s quite gobby and is not afraid to speak her mind.
“She might be a bit misunderstood because of her attitude and the way she does things. But I think she does it for the right reasons, I think she genuinely is trying to get justice for her family. So she’s not just sort of mean for the sake of being mean.”
