Coronation Street Chaos: Legend Declares War on Her Sister After Shocking Arrest
Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor) has declared war on her sister Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) after discovering the vicious revenge plot against her and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) in Coronation Street.
Viewers of the ITV soap have seen Leanne squirrel away money from the Viaduct Bistro into a fake account – TLH (Toyah Laverne Habeeb, fact fans) Holdings – to frame her for fraud.
It all began when she discovered that Toyah and Nick had reunited following their affair.
Toyah and Nick started seeing each other when Leanne was embroiled in a sinister cult.
Following weeks of hurt as Leanne discovered the betrayal, Toyah and Nick took a massive risk and decided to continue their relationship in secret.
Of course, their undercover romance didn’t stay hidden for long. It’s soapland, after all!
Leanne read an email that revealed Nick had booked a honeymoon suite in a lavish foreign hotel, but he quickly tried to pass it off as a trip for him and son Sam (Jude Riordan).
Deciding that she had to take revenge, she stole Toyah’s passport and set up the hoax bank account.
Last week, she pretended that Nick had sent her a text to update him on their holiday, and even staged an overly friendly phone call so that Toyah would overhear.
In tonight’s episode, Nick returned from Tenerife and found out about the sum of cash that had ‘mysteriously’ gone missing from the bistro.
After he noticed that it was Toyah who had apparently stolen the funds, the police turned up and arrested her.
At the station, detective Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) questioned her, noting that the banking password was ‘rose2001’ – so it must be somebody close to her that has set her up.
Rose, as fans found out earlier this year, was Toyah’s stillborn baby who was born 23 years ago and subsequently buried in some woodland.
Toyah instantly suspected Leanne and informed Nick of her worries. He agreed that she is the most likely suspect behind the targeted attack.
Deciding to play her at his own game, Nick approached Leanne with Toyah’s concerns and she acted appalled that they would consider her to be responsible.

When she suggested that her sister should be barred from working at the restaurant, he tentatively went along with it.
Nick then asked his ex-fiancée if she wanted to move in with him again, but she brushed him off and said she needed to get back to work.
Later, he rushed off to the Chariot Square Hotel and met up with Toyah. There, he explained that Leanne had fallen for his story and they declared war!
This is going to turn into a very nasty Christmas…
