Coronation Street enthusiasts have just made the connection between Theo Silverton actor James Cartwright and his previous role on a CBBC show.
Soap fans will remember that Theo made his debut on the cobbles earlier this year, embarking on a secret affair with Todd Grimshaw. However, Todd was taken aback when he discovered that Theo is married to Danielle and they have two children.
In classic soap opera fashion, recent episodes saw Danielle walk in on Theo and Todd in a passionate embrace, revealing their clandestine relationship.
After being caught red-handed, an intoxicated Theo ended things with Todd, before joining Danielle outside, hinting at a possible reconciliation.

In next week’s episodes, Todd receives news that Theo has disappeared, leading to a brawl with Mick, the drunken scaffolder, reports Belfast Live.
Later in the week, Todd investigates a car alarm going off on the hearse, only to find it splattered with paint. He is shocked to learn that it was Theo’s daughter Millie who vandalised the hearse.
As she berates him for tearing her family apart, Theo jumps to Millie’s defence, leaving Todd even more surprised and heartbroken.
With Theo now in the spotlight, soap viewers have just realised that he portrayed a significant character on CBBC’s Tracy Beaker, taking on the role of Nathan for 40 episodes from 2003 to 2004.
Fans on social media were left gobsmacked when one eagle-eyed viewer pointed out: “Not sure if something like this has already been posted here, but I was stunned to find out that James Cartwright, who plays Todd’s latest love interest, Theo, played the character of Nathan in Tracy Beaker from 2003-2004!”

The revelation sparked a wave of nostalgia as they continued: “Who else remembers him from this? I couldn’t believe my eyes!”
In response, another user shared their surprise, writing: “I was shocked when I found out it was him going into Corrie but I loved him in Tracy beaker and I like him in Corrie so far.” While someone else chimed in: “Recognised his face just couldn’t place where. Loved Tracey beaker growing up.”
Another soap fan exclaimed: “OMG no frigging way I grew up watching Tracy Beaker but had no idea, he looks totally different! ! ! Loved the character Nathan, he was hilarious especially letting Tracy and the other kids run rings round him.”
Beyond his role in Tracy Beaker, the 40 year old actor James Cartwright has graced our screens in Downton Abbey as Tony Sellick and lent his voice to The Archers playing Harrison Burns.
