Coronation Street kickstarts the final chapter of Eileen Grimshaw’s (Sue Cleaver) exit story next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with the return of her son Jason (Ryan Thomas).
The much-loved character makes his return at his aunt Julie’s (Katy Cavanagh-Jupe) wake, managing to break up a potentially awkward situation.
George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) has detailed his desire to marry Eileen – and she doesn’t know what to say.
Elsewhere, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) finds himself feuding with son Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), who is still unaware of his true paternity.
He’s convinced that his ‘dad’ Mick (Joe Layton) is innocent, and charges towards him.
Later, Kit’s forced to come clean to partner Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), telling her that he slept with Lou (Farrell Hegarty) sixteen years ago and together they had Brody.

Over at the Chariot Square Hotel, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is saddened to see her ex partner Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) strolling around with his old flame.
Desperate to get one up, she takes a call and pretends that its one of her former lovers on the other end of the line.
Her protective brother Carl (Jonathan Howard) then intervenes, ordering Ronnie to stay away from the hotel and not to upset Debbie again.
It seems that Ronnie’s ex, Fiona, has an ulterior motive for getting back in touch. She explains to him that she needs to get rid of a dodgy car, which seems to give Carl an idea.
After being handed a job at Websters’ Autocentre – much to sister-in-law Abi’s (Sally Carman-Duttine) annoyance – he calls up Fiona and speaks to her about the vehicle.
What is Carl up to?
