EastEnders confirms Mark’s boss Delaney’s identity as fans ‘rumble’ his link to Walford

Russell Delaney on EastEnders has been identified, and now fans think they know who Mark Fowler Jr’s boss is.

New spoilers have confirmed what he looks like and his full name, after recent mentions and ahead of an appearance. He actually appears onscreen this week according to previous spoiler lines.

Next week he takes centre stage though as he crosses the Mitchells, and kidnaps Mark. Amid Mark’s building debt and a run-in between Russell and Mark’s dad Grant Mitchell, we find out Russell’s links to Walford.

There’s a link to Mark’s aunt Sam Mitchell too, and it all kicks off soon in dramatic scenes. New images have revealed who Russell Delaney is, as shown below, and now fans think they know his ties to other residents, and a possible past on the show.

This week, Phil and Mark insist that Grant doesn’t get involved with Mark’s drama with his boss. Grant ignores their request, and wades in to speak to Russell but things soon go from bad to worse when their past differences resurface.

What is revealed about this remains to be seen, but it leads to Russell breaking Mark’s sister Vicki Fowler’s home and sharing the truth about Mark’s debt. Vicki reveals all to Mark and he is fuming to learn about Grant’s meddling.

Next week Russell is back, and it leads to him taking action against Mark and the Mitchells. Russell has Mark kidnapped by masked men, with him bundled into a van.

Grant receives a call from Russell demanding full payment of the debt immediately. A rescue mission is launched and just before this, things escalate when Russell overhears Sam talking and it’s revealed they have a history too.

Phil, Grant, Sam and Billy decide to go and find Mark immediately and a tense standoff breaks out. What happens next remains to be seen, but fans think the spoilers about Russell confirm he is the big drugs boss Ravi Gulati was tied to.

Fans think he is the one who was leading all the stuff Ravi was caught up in in recent months, leading to Harry Mitchell and Kojo Asare’s own drama. Some fans even wondered if we had met him before in previous Walford storylines.

Taking to social media, a fan said: “He’s going to be the big drugs boss?” Another viewer said: “He is because Ravi and Mark we’re working for the same dude.”

Another agreed: “I reckon he’ll be the big boss man that Ravi worked for.” A fourth fan queried: “Was it not Sam’s ex and he threw her out of the van when she got dumped back on the square. I might be wrong though.”
