John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) can do nothing but hope in Emmerdale soon, as he gets word that Aidan Moore has woken from his coma.
The character has been visiting Aidan ever since he was put to sleep. John was in a relationship with Aidan when they were in the army together, but has moved on and is now engaged to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
In our new picture gallery, we see the moment John is told about the development from an old lady called Cathleen.
Already spinning a lot of plates, all John can do is hope that Aidan doesn’t remember anything about him – if he is able to communicate, that is.
Also next week in Emmerdale, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) heads to an appointment about her fertility, hoping she’ll soon be able to start her IVF journey. When she is there though, a scan leaves Sarah feeling terribly worried, as she’s told there’s a possibility she might have cancer.

Vic (Isabel Hodgins) remains at the hospital too by son Harry’s bedside.
The young lad fell ill after drinking contaminated water, but Vic remains unaware her brother John was responsible for the slurry incident in the first place.
