Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) heads home next week in Emmerdale, but he’s in a terrible way.
The character departed the village a couple of weeks ago, when he learnt that Caleb Miligan (William Ash) had helped John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) go on the run.
Determined to make John pay for the murder of Nate Robinson, Cain left, vowing to track John down in France.
When he gets back to Butlers Farm, Cain is relying on alcohol to get through the day. Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) reminds her husband that he needs to think about other members of his family as well, but it seems there’s no getting through to him.
Also next week, the Kings continue to clash with Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley). Her daughter Clemmie has sent a private image to Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) son Carl, and the parents are arguing over what is best to do next.

Elsewhere, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) takes on her latest job from Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).
He drops her outside a hotel and explains that she’s meeting a man in one of the bedrooms. When she gets there, April gives the man some cocaine but very quickly things escalate, leaving the youngster in danger once more.
Other storylines include Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) asking Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) to stay with him on his first night back at the flat, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) getting his test results, and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) facing a problem ahead of his next assignment from Ray.
